Tee Shirt Quilt Project
Tacking the Tee Shirt Quilt
Ever wondered what to do with all those camp and team tee shirts your kids have collected over the years.
Instead of sending them to the rag bag, make a beautiful memory quilt. Cut the "theme" part of the shirt into equal size squares.
Small emblems and logos can be blocked into groups of four to match the size of the larger squares.
Piece all the squares together to make the quilt top.
The quilt back needs to made of a material with very little stretch to offset the stretch of the tee shirt material.
Match the top to the back with a layer of polyester batting in between. This quilt can be tacked or quilted in a hoop or quilt frames.
