Chop the onion and the remaining apple into medium size pieces. Place .place the oil in a large skillet. Place the onion in the skillet first and cover with the two tablespoons of sugar. Let the onion caramelize. Add the apple and let the two simmer together until they get soft and about to fall apart. In another bowl whisk together the remaining apple juice and the flour. Add this to the onion and apple mixture, let it simmer until thick. |
